Africa's most valuable resource is its youth. Young Africans will make up 75% of the continent's population under 35 and 42% of the world's youth by 2030. In addition to being Africa's future, this group possesses a wealth of untapped talent that has the potential to revolutionize the global digital economy.

The world is also struggling with a growing skills gap at the same time. According to the World Economic Forum, 150 million new technology employment will emerge in the next five years, and 77% of positions will require digital skills by 2030. Africa is still a minor participant in the $7.4 trillion digital-creative economy that is anticipated to exist by 2030 and it presently has less than 1% of the $3 trillion worldwide market for digital exportable services.

Here's where Brandr comes into play.

The Problem We’re Solving

Brandr is tackling the ever-widening skills gap and Africa's youth bulge by developing the global south's talent pipeline into the global digital-creative industries. Our goal is to provide over 10 million African youths with access to digital employment possibilities that transcend national boundaries by 2045.

How We'll Make It Happen

In order to achieve this goal, Brandr is building a 360° talent ecosystem and establishing significant entry points into the global digital economy.

  1. Connecting Current Talent:
In the first phase, we are finding high-demand positions in the digital-creative industries and connecting Africa's most talented on-demand digital workers. We offer resources, support tools, and mentorship to help individuals succeed in remote, hybrid and on-site work settings in addition to job connections.

  2. Training and Upskilling the Future Generation:
By collaborating with professionals in the field as well as our ecosystem partners, we will develop specialized training curricula and career pathways that will provide the future generation with the globally competitive abilities they need to thrive in digitally creative professions.

  3. Promoting Policy Advocacy:
In order to make a long-lasting difference, Brandr will work with industry partners as well as government legislators to create equitable, inclusive digital work regulations that remove obstacles and enable Africa's young professionals to participate in the global digital economy.

The Opportunity Ahead

African youth offer an effective answer for the world's digital skills crisis as well as an untapped potential for the quickly expanding digital-creative economy. Brandr wants to change the conversation about Africa's place in the digital future and promote economic growth throughout the continent by allowing them to compete on the international scene. One talent, one profession, one future at a time, Brandr is turning promise into opportunity via audacious ambition and calculated action.
